Cassidy O’Connor

Cassidy O’Connor is co-author of Haunted Buffalo: Ghosts in the Queen City, which was published by The History Press in 2009. She has also been published through Schiffer Books, The National Examiner, and Intrepid Magazine. She lectures on many subjects from History vs Folklore to Ancient Spirituality. Her interest in history started at a very young age while thumbing through books on anything from the ancient Egyptians to the spirituality of the Native Americans. As she grew older and began working in the supernatural realm, she realized the importance of not only looking at the history of a haunting, but how the history and geography of a site seems to hold onto energy, which has helped her to be very successful in contacting the other side. The help she offers gives a new and unique perspective look in to the past, a perspective that could have been lost forever. Cassidy has been dubbed “The Paranormal Historian” locally throughout Western New York where she resides. She is a practicing Spiritualist and firmly believes in communicating with the dead. She has tackled many solo cases and focused much of her research in southern New York State, though she has opened and successfully closed many cases stretching throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Maryland.

This revised edition of the controversial Diaries of the Dark Side contains a new introduction and reflection on the incidents and strange occurrences since the book was first published!

Young Cassidy O’Connor was an avid researcher of the supernatural. When she found herself involved in a case that was unlike any other, however, she was forced to open her eyes. With the introduction of young Matthew into her life, she began to realize this was not a normal haunting. This was something very different – this was evil.  Cassidy dug through layers of historical events and learned how the past can always come back to haunt you. Combining history with folklore, she discovered that what tormented Matthew and his family was not a ghost or a simple whisper, but something out of Hell itself. This is a true, first-person account from the woman who aided that family over a three year period. It is a warning to those who feel that fame and fortune can come from entering that forbidden world.

It is a warning to those who feel that fame and fortune can come from entering that forbidden world.
